Master in Health Management , Riga

From the 2022/23 academic year, this programme will be implemented as an academic master's programme (4 semesters), offering three optional modules in the third semester:
1) Economic Modelling in Health Care
2) Digital Health
3) Entrepreneurship, Management and Administration of HC Organisation.
Upon completion, students will receive a Master of Social Sciences in Management and Administration.

The programme aims to prepare highly qualified specialists to take responsibility for the development and analysis of the national healthcare policy – state officials and heads of private institutions, specialists for strategic, financial and human resources planning and for application of the methods of healthcare economics and for the development of healthcare system processes.

The programme has been established on the basis of the latest findings and approaches in healthcare and management science and is the only study programme of its kind in Latvia and the Baltic States.
